本研究では、小中高等学校のSC 便りを対象に、SC の意見や意図が表現されているメッセージ性の高い記事に焦点を当て、学校種（発達段階）や発行時期による特徴を明らかにすることを目的とした。計量テキスト分析の結果、小学校は保護者支援、中学校は学習や自己理解、高校は社会的自立に向けた内容が特徴的に抽出された。また、発行時期によって記事の内容は異なっており、特に１学期の５月、３学期の１月の内容が特徴的であった。読み手である児童生徒の発達段階や、行事や季節といったサイクルに応じたメッセージが、SC 便りに込められていた。本研究により明らかになった学校種別また発行時期別のSC便りの掲載内容の特徴は、日本のSC が児童生徒や保護者に発信するメッセージとして、SCのスタンスや姿勢を示すものと考えられた。
This paper examines the characteristics of developmental stage and publication time from the messages that convey opinions and intentions of school counselors regarding newsletters from school counselors in elementary, junior high, and high schools. These results suggest that elementary school is characterized by parental support, junior high school is characterized by learning and self-understanding, and high school is characterized by social independence. The content of the messages differs depending on publication time, especially in May for the first semester and January for the third semester. The school counselor newsletter contains messages that match the student’s developmental stage and the cycle of events and seasons. These findings suggest that the characteristics of school type and publication time of the school counselor newsletter are the messages sent by school counselors to children and parents in Japan as an indication of the school counselor’s stance and attitude. |
