One course was taught in a traditional classroom manner and the other used the　flipped method. The results showed that significantly higher efforts were observed in students who studied under the flipped　method. They spent a greater number of hours studying for class and produced more words on their compositions. Furthermore, the flipped method also increased the writing proficiency of the participants.
