 note = {The purpose of sex education is not only to give knowledge about the mechanisms and the reproductive functions of the body. It is also a big influence on children to be able to value their bodies and minds, and to cherish others. It is important to foster a sense of self-affirmation and to work with others to develop the power to live in abundance. Therefore, sex education is necessary for children of any age. It is preferable for this knowledge to be carried out from early childhood when children have interest or concern about sexual content. It is necessary for parents and caregivers, who are familiar with children, to be concerned about their children’s sex education.
This paper is concerned about a lecture on sex education in the child’s health time that was given to students who were training to become childcare workers. The sex education that students had received so far had covered mastering knowledge in the health field. The researcher was able to gain an understanding of diversity, the relationships between people, and the necessity of educating children in the future as a childcare worker.},
