This time I have taken up Brahms'Op.114 as a theme. Composed late in his life, Op.114 employs the rare trio of clarinet, cello, and piano in a piece that is both simple yet filled with rich harmony. The essence of Brahms' chamber music compositions is in the resonance created by making use of the special characteristics of each instrument.
