From the results, the advantages as an instructor and performer can be examined, taking an objective view in order to bring about the development of students. A focus is placed on the effectiveness of piano education undertaken online when various situations make face-to-face lessons difficult, as well as the effect of reconsidering oneself from the point of view of others who are aware of taking an online class. With the introduction of online classes, issues such as “disruption in the image and sound due to the internet connection”, “preparation for online lessons”, and “lesson comprehension” have been viewed as a problem. The written and oral responses to the survey from the students form the basis of this inspection into issues such as the extent to which problems were caused by sound quality or the internet connection, as well as problems and advantages arising from online instruction.
