During this period, the author surveyed fifth and sixth graders of elementary school and second graders of junior high school on the co-eating of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as the waking and sleeping habits, and examined the ideal way of future guidance on food. It was found that students had irregular lifestyles, such as getting up and going to bed late. More than 70% of the respondents ate an unbalanced lunch and more than 40% did not drink milk. There was a relation between obesity and meal balance of lunch and dinner. The presence or absence of breakfast was associated with all items. It was found that students had a problem in practicing at home what they had learned about school lunch when their school life was interrupted.
