In order to obtain childcare qualifications, students practice at kindergartens and nursery schools. While practicing, students write a record, but many students struggle with it. A questionnaire survey was conducted to help students understand the significance and purpose of keeping a record of practical training and how to make it so that it improves their practical skills as a childcare worker. From the survey results, it was deemed necessary to reduce the time spent on student records．It is also necessary to change the record format and student awareness, and improve student writing skills. In addition, cooperation with training facilities is necessary.
